A Delta Air lines desistiu da frequência para Manaus que iniciaria em novembro de 2012. Segue abaixo a nota divulgada pela empresa:

Returning of Nine US-Brazil Frequencies

Delta Air Lines, Inc. hereby returns to
the Department seven of the nine US-
Brazil frequencies that it was allocated
by Notice of Action Taken on May 13,
2011 in OST-2011-0085. Delta no longer
plans to begin service on the Atlanta-
Manaus route for which these seven
frequencies were intended.

The above referenced NOAT contained a
condition that six of Delta’s nine
frequencies may be used at any point or
points in Brazil, except Rio de Janeiro
and Sao Paulo Terminal; and three of
Delta’s nine frequencies may be used at
any point or points in Brazil, except
Sao Paulo Terminal. The seven
frequencies Delta is returning to the
Department are comprised of (a) the six
frequencies that may used at point or
points in Brazil, except Rio de Janeiro
and Sao Paulo Terminal and (b) one of
three frequencies that may be used at
any point or points in Brazil, except
Sao Paulo Terminal. Delta is using the
remaining
